Fitness is never the issue. It's how hard have to or are made to you work.
Huddersfield ball control and end of set play execution is what makes them run out of steam.
We need to force the same situation.
I`m not sure you can say that fitness is never the issue, because it is.
Not saying players aren`t fit to a high level in general anyway, but that`s different, this is elite sport and there is a reason clubs invest heavily in conditioning and that`s because there are levels to how fit a team / players can be, and it definitely shows with teams at times. Yes being ` fit ` is an absolute mandatory expectation for a full time athlete, but some groups are fitter than others.
Look at boxing for instance where even the elite of the elite get caught out in a pretty major way if they take short cuts in camps, it happens.
