Lodging a compliant with the RFL? Must be pretty confident over the legalities of the signed contract. Citing the Chester sacking is just a convenient excuse, it's not as if we had an inspiration coach on our books. Anyhow use the money to divert resource to the forwards.

I smell BS and possibly some skullduggery by Catalan and sure that something like this was mentioned when Simon left. Can’t believe a player was coming to play for Chester unless we signed him 3 years ago. Something stinks like Grimsby docks on this one.

He may have been expecting Chester, that doesn't mean Chester was the main reason for him coming. I'd be surprised if money wasn't the main reason or the security of a longer contract. Who knows maybe Catalan have now dug deeper than they were previously prepared to. But coming solely for Chester? Can't see it myself |
