He’s good mates with Hetherington & has been trying to get a back office job there for years. He only came here cos the deal was too good to turn down!

Even though some fans don't like him, some pretty heavy hitting coaches have sought him out as their assistant or to add to their technical teams.
He obviously has something. I reckon Leeds will improve their young players with him after letting it drift for a while.

He a good assistant and most definitely not a Head Coach or a head of anything but as a number two has plenty to offer.

With all due respect, how do you know it’s made up. You’ve know idea where I got told that.

As it stands even Wakey fans have to concede he can spot a player, he’s just not head coach material, which this appointment isn’t.

He definitely adds value - too many astute people have used him for that not to be the case; best of luck to him.

The bloke did his best for us and brought some good players to the club. He didn't deliberately get the team to play bad! He just wasn't right for usat that time.
He knows more than I will ever know about RL so good luck to him.

For the sake of SL's reputation, its best Furner does come. However it would be hilarious if they ended up with Agar.

And I'm not sure what you think happened to John but as I understand it, he got out of his time at Wakefield exactly what he put in. Let himself down badly.
