Potential Egg on face or not it's certainly more interesting with Koukash around than without.

I guess when we see the names of these six players we will see if Mr Koukash's predictions have any legs.

Was quoted he was after Sam Tomkins & Adrian Morley - signed Darrell Griffin.

We'll wait and see but with all the noise he makes I'm pretty sure he'll put his money where his mouth is at some point.

With all the rumours flying around recently I'm expecting to maybe see Tom Briscoe, Adrian Morley and Rangi Chase in Salford shirts in 2014. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Michael Dobson and Corey Paterson running out for them as well as probably Lee Gaskell.

Pull those 6 off and they will obviously be much improved.

He wont get a work permit

Wasn't that the reason why the deal with Hull FC collapsed not too long ago?

Yeah Michael Dobson couldn't get a work permit to sign for Cas in 2006 and two weeks later signed for Wigan. Money and influence!

Thought it was more to do with the fact he had a criminal conviction in Australia part way through his contract with Cas? i.e. Free to see out his contract but unable to renew??

I think it's impossible for a team to "buy" a championship in this era however the rumored players will certainly help strengthen their squad going forward, if Koucash is serious about developing Salford into a super league power house he should invest in the academy.

Think you're right yeah, the Doctor will need to pull a few strings. According to the Salford fans, Koukash himself has said it's a done deal.
