Well, no. We do have some great players but not the whole 17! Some of 'the kids' put the first teamers to shame IMO.

He's correct, we swill struggle this season.

He never said we will struggle, he said we might. It's true we might. But looking at some of these youngsters coming through I don't think we will struggle. We'll finish in the top four and I think this team will only get stronger as the season goes on. Hull will run out of steam, they're too old.

Saints should be starting to come together by the time the play offs start. But being realistic I think 2011 will see a new era for for Saints and another 10 years of being the team to beat.

Trouble is for many short sighted fans, finishing 3rd or 4th will mean a disaster.

Last season with the worst injury crisis i can remember we finished 2nd. Those same kids who did so well are a year older with alot more experience. We've lost a non existant Cayless and gained a workhorse in Fozz. We've actually got 2 centres this year. I am very positive about our chances this year, and why not?

finishing top 4 would be great for us this season. This is the year for the youngsters to make their mark. Leeds, wigan, warrington and hull all look strong. This is a transistional period for saints. New half back, 'new' hooker, new centre. Hopefully we'll get better as the season goes on then next year kick on with the 'youngsters' having gained all the experience this term. Next year new stadium, new era, new saints! C.O.Y.S

I was at the KC stadium last week watching my team get a bit of a battering by Hull's pack, believe me, they are a totally different proposition to last years and will be one of the most aggressive and dominant in SL this year, providing they don't give away too many penalties. Fitzgibbon looked athletic and impressive for his age, (in the Menzies mould) and O'Meley and Luaki were very aggressive and difficult to contain. I don't think they will run out of steam. Longy dictating play made a big difference to them as well, they will need to keep him injury free. The outside backs are a mixed bag, some talented young kids (Briscoe, Turner, Hall, Tansey with some experience, Yeaman, Calderweood, Whiting). Although it pains me to say it, I think they might be dark horses this year. Think you will beat them though getting them first up, I think they are only having 1 hit out for the first team before the season starts so will be under done for 1st game. I still expect you to be top 4 and hopefully we will be able to be as competitive as last year. Most KR fans will be happy with top 6. Good luck against Hull!!

Longy could be right. I think we needed a monster forward (if Soliola plays centre) or a skillful centre (if Soliola plays second row) to bolster our squad. Hopefully along with our new stadium, 2011 will bring some new world class signings.
