I would agree but the rules state that you cant put your hands accross, which Briscoe did, without the ball and thats classed as obstruction.If it was just shoulders he would be OK.Harsh, but thats life.Im sure Hudds. fans feel hard done by too with the Broughton try ruled out for obstruction when Ward was nowhere near.

Exactly it was harsh, but so was the Broughton one so cancels each other out IMO.

Would've preferred to have been tackled near halfway to finish the game rather than think for 2 minutes that we might've nicked it.

To be fair the Broughton no try came of the back of a scrum that was incorrectly given to Hudds IIRC.

to be honest i really thought the try at the end was gonna go your way, but for once we got a VR decision go our way, we were as poor as we've been all season and yet you still couldn't beat us when we were there for the taking.

It was all very dramatic, but it was a poor game. I thought Hudds just about deserved it in the end. Both teams have more to come.

agree, although in terms of excitement and drama it was a good/bad one to stand through but the quality from both sides was poor at times.

Meh, we got a similar call in out favour at Bradford a few years ago when someone put a hand on Scott Donald as he tried to shepherd the ball out. Swings and roundabouts. Proud of the young lads efforts tonight. All good experience for them.
