| JJB limped off the pitch last Friday night,
and it seems Sinny (calf strain) and Kylie (ankle) are nursing knocks also.
3 key players we could really do with come Saturday. 2011CC winners vs 2011SL champs promises to be a massive game!
19 to be announced Thursday, Kirke available from a knee injury, props seem covered if Kylie misses,
plenty of cover for JJB also with Weller, Delaney, Abblett & Clarkson.
So heres hoping if one out of three makes it, its Sir Kev, In who we trust!

| I'd leave all 3 out tbf. No need to risk them so early when it's such a long season ahead. Not to mention we have tough games coming up against Cas, Warrington and Saints in the next 5 or 6 weeks.

| WCC as well next week,
We want to win that, but do we risk JJB, Kylie & Sinny against Wigan and risk losing them for longer!

I'm not too bothered about what happens in the WCC and if these guys aren't fit wouldn't like to see them play in that either. The SL is the main prize and we can't be risking our players long term over one or 2 games now.

| Unfortunately there is a world shortage of cotton wool.
If they're fit they should play if they're properly injured they shouldn't if they're carrying knocks they'll be no different to the rest of the players out there.

| I'm not saying wrap them up, just saying what's the point in risking 3 key players for a game in week 2 when we have a tough month coming up after the Widnes game?

| Where's the risk?
There are two comp points up for grab, Leeds should be focussed on grabbing them - especially as it's against the only team they failed to beat in 2011 while they are vulnerable under a new coaching set-up.
We're Leeds not Bradford.

| The risk is we have players with fresh knocks. If they take a bad hit on these knocks and end up being out a few months is it worth it then?
Oh, and exactly. We are Leeds, not Bradford. We have the squad depth they don't so can afford to leave players out whereas they probably couldn't.

| The point is a Bradford type team will go to Wigan and accept the defeat as an unavoidable consequence of turning up whereas Leeds should be going there for the points - Leeds recent record V Wigan (result wise) is poor and if not now giving 100% for the win then when.
The best preparation for the tough fixtures to come (starting with Wigan) is to give it full beans. There'll be time a plenty to coast later on.

| I'm in agreement with Harrigan, unless there is absolutely no doubt of any obvious injuries occurring then they should not play unless absolutely necessary. Obviously the medical staff will judge if their fit to play, but even if they are it's quite common for players to still play even when not 100%. We have adequate cover and a final the week after so they should only play if truly 100% fit.

I don't care about what our record is against Wigan in the past however many games. Id take a loss Saturday over a bad injury to Sinfield that keeps him out for a while. And our next game is Widnes, and as much as i dont want to belittke them, they will be awful this year. Id love to have a full team going into the game after that as thats the start of a pretty tough period.
I still think a team without those 3 will be capable of giving Wigan a good game though because of our depth. I mean c'mon, Hudds beat them with 6 missing. They will come out firing though but we will match them in the forwards and our outside backs are as good as theirs.

| I don't think we should be wrapping them up in cotton wool, however very few players will play 100% fit, and lots of players take the field carrying knocks of various severity.
If there is a high chance of the injury worsening I wouldn't play them.
