There won’t be any player recommendations on here from me folks. I’ll be reading your opinions on prospective signings, but I hardly watch the game nowadays apart from Leeds matches. I’m well out of the loop. As a lad who started watching and understanding the game in the mid 70’s through the 80’s, I find the non contact version of modern football sanitised and boring. I watch all the Leeds games, the big England games and odd Liverpool v Man Utd if I can be bothered. I can’t wait for the new season to start, but that’s only because I love Leeds. I’ll look forward to all other posters verdicts on who  we’re after or otherwise.

Yes totally agree mate. It's like Anton Stach that the club told the YEP they really like, why is it not done yet, fee is for him is meant to be around £17m ish... he's clearly very good and would be a big upgrade on Gruev, he'd also give Ampadu serious competition.. just get it done at that price... reports are saying from Sky Germany the deal can be done but Leeds have only enquired, not even bid yet... crackers... can understand the growing fan frustration at the moment..

I think Tad if the fee is 17m and we offer 23m then yes it does seem bad business.
But if the fee is 17m and we offer 12 and it`s turned down.
Go back and more or less pay the asking price if the club think he will make a difference.
Seems Sunderland are waiting to see who we fancy and then outbid us.

All gone quiet on the transfer front... thought they'd have brought in one or two more by now. They certainly need to get a move one, pre season fixtures are fast approaching, need to get them bedded in early.
