Is that definite or just a rumour? if so it could be a bit of gamesmanship from RM. Let's hope so.
I would have thought with Haggerty not coming now and Manning going it would have freed up a bit of money.

| He's just being honest and only saying what we already knew anyway, we are skint.
Another negative is how much revenue we would loose from the home game if the Bulls ceased to exist.

Why have the Bulls suddenly become the darlings of the Championship. We and all the other teams in this league have kept going for years in the Championship without the 'great revenue' the bulls bring to our home games.
Yes, its terrible what has happened to them, I feel for the staff, players and fans but over the last 5 years their BOD/owners have messed up a once great club (sounds familiar.) We have a stable club thanks to our BOD and I much prefer to be in the position we are than the Bulls are. Im sure the Bulls will get an owner who will set them up again, tons of money and in a few weeks their fans on their forum will be crowing about how they will be back in SL next year. Good luck to them. In the mean time I have my season ticket, so does my son and we are looking forward to pulling on the Blue and White hoops and supporting our team in 2017! Up The Fax !!!!

Nothing to do with Bulls being darlings, to me they have always been just another club and nothing more, the thread was about negatives, Bulls and Fax and I added another fact.
It will hurt us if we were to lose another £10,000, £20,000, £30,000 thousand pounds of revenue (or whatever they would bring in) if they cease to exist.

| Just over 4000 at the Shay vs Bradford last year, with 1,500 for the next home game against Swinton. Around £40k or so revenue for the 2500 additional folk through the turnstile. Not to be sneezed at, but if Bradford are still playing in the Championship this year, how many will travel across to the Shay in July if they're still in or around the relegation spots then? As we've seen ourselves, it's hard to get folk to part with their hard-earned if the team aren't performing - in Bradford's case this could be reality given they'll not have the squad they thought they'd have, or a perceived lowering of performance due to the points deduction.
Teams have a hard core of fans who travel to away games come what may. It's easy to lose "extra" away supporters when the going gets tough, but much harder to get them back other than for one-off games (finals and to a lesser extent the summer bash).

| He is only being honest we don't have any money, maybe it would be better just not to comment on our financial status I agree. Regarding Bradford I don't think it is right that the 'new' club are allowed to be in the Championship but admit we do need the money that a Fax v Bulls game attracts although the big pay day this season will be Hull KR especially as it is the last league game! The club seem to be just treading water right now maybe we need new blood to run the club.

| HKR hopefully will bring a good support but we have also lost the Leigh game which was one of our bumper fixtures cash wise. Both of them were known about and can be factured into part of the income steams for 2017 and should at least cancell one another out.
Not sure if the club expected the Bradford home game to be as the last couple of seasons but BOD's from many clubs have counted the numbers coming through the turnstiles and any shortfall has to be picked up usually by them. With losing TA it will be harder to keep doing so.
