I'm sure I remember in an interview that AP stated that if the club continue to struggle financially then we will have to adjust our salary cap spend to be in line with our income. So perhaps this may have a impact on any future recruits. Could we afford a marquee signing? Let's hope home attendances go up and the team encourages that with the performances we have se so far in 2016. That way, we may be able to continue spending at the max cap.

I personally would buy another strike centre and move Carlos Tuimavave to 6 for 2017.

Why? He's looked top quality at centre so far.

Also Michaels and Feka.

I think his pace and ball handling skills would suit stand off role.

If we already have a RFL salary cap "marquee" player, then he'll probably be playing next year, which makes another "marquee" player less likely.

The salary cap rules state that "The identity of any Marquee Player shall not be kept confidential."

I can't imagine any player being happy with this, making public that they are earning more then £175k.

I don't remember any club making such an announcement, bearing in mind that the term "marquee" has been used for years.

Could stifle HTW or Reece Dean - or completely impact them in a positive way so that when he leaves they are completely ready for 1st team!

Would be great to get him but I wouldn't have thought our finances would allow it, even if he was the marquee signing, still see what happens.
