With the York friendly coming up and the game against Rovers being on the next day, what players do you think will feature and for how long. I should imagine the squad will mainly consist of players from the 20's with some of the new players having short spells. I've heard Ellis is playing 40 mins against York and Rovers. Any other of the 1st team squad taking part? Any ideas roughly what the squad will be?

Would think Cunnighams, Green, Pearce, Kent, Crooks, Brown, Bowden and Briscoe will all feature. Wouldn't be surprised to see some of the experienced players to play such as Burnett (If fit), Ellis, Lyne, Whiting, O'Carroll. Would like to even see a few of the younger 18's given a shot. Some played well in the nines. Can't remember names though.

I have a couple of places left on my coach going down for the game from three tuns, as the rugby team from there are playing the rugby league all stars as the curtain raiser for the charity life for a kid, we are setting off at 2 and the ticket and coach is £16 message me if interested.

Wow, now that is inexperienced!

Glad in a way. Gives the youngsters a go against what looks like a near full strength York side. Hopefully Gentle will throw a few in when we play in the CC against lower opposition and even in a couple of SL games. Cant wait for this season. Everything is looking positive!

Good to see the club have obviously been scouting our local Conference sides with Jamie Shaul getting a game. Really good young player. Was only saying a couple of months back after watching him play a blinder against Myton Warriors that i thought Rovers should give him a chance in our 20s.
