After going 10 points down after 15 minutes we then registered 24 unanswered points. This against a team that scored 60 3 days ago!
This is a massive result for us backing up after a tough derby against top of the league.

It was a tremendous effort. Have to say I thought we'd tire but thankfully they proved me wrong.

The most pleasing thing is we managed to defend our tryline a few times, something we could not do on Friday.

The thing that surprised me was that Warrington looked more tired than us in the second half. Given the relative efforts expended on Friday, you have to assume this was all about motivation. Exceptional defensive effort, hunting in packs. Can I just mention Dowes again? Thought he was great today.

Excellent result and a bit of consistency which is fantastic to see. I think just having Gleeson in the side has lifted us and long may that continue.

Confirms my belief that Sky begged Hull to let Rovers through for a few just to keep it interesting for the TV.

How else do you explain Rovers having two attacks first half and scoring two tries yet we can keep the league's premier attack quiet for 65 minutes?

Great effort Hull. One wonders why it's taken 8 months to string two wins together but I'll take the wins whichever way they come.
