| Chris Satae and Reimis Smith both likely to be back for Les Dracs on Saturday so hopefully we can counter that with Big Mike, Uele and possibly Doyle as well, and hopefully Trueman will have shaken off his knock too ?? Looking forward to this one

| To have mike and Uele back would be great for us. I saw Romano and Laguerre have picked up injured for them
Our recent record against Catalan is shocking, as trinity heritage mentioned no win in 14

It is shocking and it’s time to turn it on. I want to see a wire away, Wigan at home performance this week. If there’s a time to show how far the club has come and the players it’s this coming week. Need to start this next block of important games with a big bang. Catalans have been poor up to last week but Hudds were terrible. We need to make sure we go all out on Catalans and derail their season. We can finish off their chances pretty much this week and go for the throat and be ruthless. I hope we do just that.

| To be fair to Huddersfield, it was 36 degrees in Perpignan. Probably hitter in the stadium. I think we'll be a stiffer test this week.

| Big blow Trueman out with concussion.
Maybe missing Hull too.
Two very important games.
Russell may be back for Hull. May be too soon this week but maybe he could make it who knows.
Big game this one, moving Max away from 1 isn’t ideal.
Doyle back could go to 9 and Hood or maybe Smith to 7.
Suppose we could go with Rourke at 1 and Max at 6 but we lose alot of our attacking play and ability to create space out wide with that.
Be interesting to see what Powell does.
Can’t get any luck can we.

| If Olly Russell is back next week then I certainly hope version 2.0 is an improvement on version 1.0 For this week I think either Smith or Hood could be a good shout, Trojan

Max will scare the daylights out of them creating space on edges. As much as I like Rourke it’s something not in his locker. I think we need that this week.

| You are having a laugh with Doyle and Smith. Seriously come on.
Roarke back in and Max to 6. There is nothing to stop Max hitting the line and passing just like he does at fullback if he wants to.

| Catalans fixtures are our banana skin game of the season more often than not. 14 defeats in a row isn't it?
Really hoped Truman would have been available for this game to give us a bit extra. The hammering of Shudds, who themselves had improved recently, will have given them a lift so I'm not looking forward to Saturday at all.

| 14 in a row, but that's because they were class and we were terrible. For that period they had Mikes McMeeken and McIlorum, Tom Johnstone, Tom Davies, Sam Tomkins at his wisened peak, James Maloney, and others. We had Tom Lineham. Both totally different teams now, so I'll be taking this one at face value. We're a quality team, strengthened by McMeeken and Uele's return, with the some of the comp's form players in Fa'atili and Jowitt. They have some boppers who are destructive with their tails up, but absolutely no resilience or belief in each other. It's a classic Wakey 2025 match - if we play well we'll win, if we play badly we'll lose. That's what makes us so good to watch at the moment.

It’s not ideal I know but last time we played Catalans max was shut out of the game at 6. Wasn’t that the game where he touched the ball very few times all game too? Like a handful maybe. Rourke’s main game is individual kick chases isolating the full back and if Tomkins is playing that likely won’t be effective. Hood has played 6 quite well last year for us. He at least allows a passing link to utilise Jowitts strengths which I think are Catalans weaknesses. It’s just not ideal at all not having Max at 1 or a 6 available. I do hope that Russel can make it if there’s a chance. If Rourke plays I’ll be fully supportive of him and I think he’s been solid. I think he just needs to develop his game on the edges and ball in hand. It’s just an area I think we need to exploit this week. Powell will likely go with Rourke at 1 because that’s what he’s done most of season when forced but Hood is an option if Doyle is fit whereas he wasn’t previously.
