According to League Express there is a crunch meeting Monday 21/08/17 between Trinity officials and WMDC regards new Stadium as the deadline as to where we play next season fast approaches. apparently the Council has recently met the RFL to explain there stance on the issue.

Think I'll contain my excitement until one of these meetings produces something positive.

This kind of think makes me nervous.
WMDC could say anything and their comments could have a major effect on Trinity's future.
We are getting special dispensation for playing at BV and with Catalan now looking like their SL future is in jeopardy, Trinity and their ground could end up being the fall guy.
Needless to say it would see many fans walk away from the game but, this is the RFL and I wouldn't put anything past them (or WMDC).

That's my fear - the RFL will be desperate to keep Les Cats in SL, and our abject failure to make any progress on a ground that is fit for purpose, could be just the excuse they need to relegate us and save Catalans; scary stuff.

Your quite right, and if the unthinkable happens the RFL will extend it to 13 teams.

Cant see them going for 13 clubs as it would screw up the Magic Weekend.
They would go with either 12 or 14, assuming that there was to be a change.

I can see them (The RFL) doing everything they can to protect Catalan and we could do with Le Cats securing their SL status a.s.a.p.

Worrying that the championship could be looking at having 3 foreign teams in a league of 12 clubs. I've nothing against having foreign teams in the league, but RL clubs in the championship already seem to be living hand to mouth and the prospect of losing away fans from nearly 1/3 of their fixtures must be making the remaining clubs worry

3/12 = 1/4 but, I take your point.
Plus KR travel well away from home so, there would be an effect felt from their absence (assuming that they gain promotion).
