Almost certainly. Wire win and close the gap to two with you having to go to Headingley and Hull KR (we've got the small matter of St Helens and Hull at home). And the diversion of a cup semi (and hopefully final).

A win on Friday therefore means we can afford 3 slip-ups. For me, there is only the away trips to Hull and Leeds which might be tricky. The rest we [ishould[/i win. Having said that, I can still see Wire losing against Saints as that could be the game for 2nd place.

It's a nice position to be in, knowing that a win this week pretty much sets us up for what's left of the season. I really can't see us losing 3 games between now and the end of the year, and Wire will do very, very well to match our record.

Its great to see a game like this on Friday that means so much to both clubs, hopefully the players will concur and give us one hell of a game!

I think you'll win it. I'm not trying to get my defence in early but you are clearly the best team in the league at the moment. We might win it - it wouldn't be a shock result either way - but we are having a slight dip, I think, before we re-intensify for the cup and play offs (that's my hope anyway). We have rested players over the last couple of weeks though (Morley, Harrison, Briers) which could help us. |
