Apparently they don't want the hundred odd fans that our two clubs would concievably bring to the games. I've been before and was planning to go to Manchester to watch this one. Hopefully this is a ruse, but at the same time Toulouse sounds like a much nicer place to go for a weekend. |

Having just done the Quins RU trip to Toulouse I would have no problem with another trip there.......decent hotel, bars, restaurants all found. I was 50/50 on the Manchester trip anyway.

This just shows what a load of spineless muppets the RFL are. Why should SKY say this can not be played at the same stadium on the same weekend as the other games. It's at times like this that you know what the RFL really think of you. Just think of it as like being in the Championship or CC1.

It is disappointing if true that we're not going to be included, but then since this Magic Weekend is already a watered-down concept one wonders if it's any great loss? As WQ says, games can be played without being televised, it does seem an odd decision.
