Aston views are rarely worth listening to. Let him keep spouting his tripe and we will continue our winning ways, even after a relatively sub standard performance. That's taking nothing away from Dewsbury who played well enough and whose forwards more than matched ours.

Still plenty of rugby still be played before any club can think about promotion. Injuries when it comes to the crunch games will have a major bearing but the teams that can peak at the right time will also have a great chance. Wakefield look there for the taking right now but it's a funny old game and the picture might look a whole lot different in 2 months time.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me. Still supose it's a compliment when other coaches feel the need to talk about you, he should be careful though, Fev became obsessed with talking about us last year and look what happend.

That was the unlamented Mr Nahaboo and his ridiculous bombastic statements. Mark Campbell has on more than one occasion expressed his quiet admiration for the way Leigh have gone about things. His views on Aston and Sheffield are known to be rather less positive.

Nearly everything Aston says seems to have some sort of agenda, but to me this smacks of bitterness about Sheffield's recent loss to Leigh (didn't he whine about some of the decisions that day?); his team got hammered by Bradford so he has to put a positive spin on it ("they're the best team") whilst having a sly dig at Leigh.

Aston has to find a positive spin, for his side's good hiding at Bradford. If we were showing signs of cracking and going backwards yesterday, where does that leave Sheffield? It's worth pointing out that they have already LOST at Dewsbury. At least we managed to get the two points there!

I would confidently expect our coach to use Aston's ramblings as a motivational tool when the Eagles come to LSV!
