I'll be coming up for the cup match as my daughter is interested in watching her first "live" match of RL and I hope that there will be a bit of atmosphere for this one. As the last time I watched Leigh was at Hilton Park, I'd be grateful for advice about where best to watch the game from, bearing in mind we'll be driving up after I finish work and back down the M6 after the game, so in the seats, I think.

Also, if anybody wants to get a couple of freezer packs of little pasties from Claphams, I'd be happy to do a deal on the car park before the game!

CharlIe, are you trying to protect me? I was in Claphams in December, and I enjoyed the frozen pasties we bought then. (Yes, i cooked them first).The last thing I want is to turn this into a pasty thread. We all know where that will lead!

West Stand is seated along the side, North Stand terracing behind the sticks. Majority of the atmosphere is in the North but noticed late on in Sunday's game that the West Stand was bouncing along with the rest of us. Just make sure you're at the northerly end of the West Stand so that you're towards the Leigh end.

Well I like those mini pasties too even though I now live away from the "Capital".

You have nothing to worry about then , for me Claphams was the best in Leigh a few years ago , i havent been for a while though , but as Salfordleyther says he will sort you out with some if you contact him .

Outstanding! Cup fever has hit Birmingham, anyway. There's four of us coming up now! Really looking forward to next Friday and we'll enjoy it for what it is.
