What a joke, Fax play on Thursday prior to the game and we play on Saturday, giving them a lot more recovery time.

I'm pretty sure the U2 concert was planned ages ago so Fax would of known they were playing on Thursday not Friday from the beginning.

I know its not the clubs fault but after this seasons fixture schedule, I won't be buying a season ticket next year, as always I will still go to as many games as possible though.

They refused one date because they had a shorter recovery time and we've just bent over and taken it up the a$$ like we usually do.

Ridiculous.

Hardly, it has been forced upon us by the RFL who have final say in all fixtures when clubs can't agree.

Unlike the RFL darlings to have a bias towards us..........

because of the rearranged fixing and me and the wife (season ticket holders) have used all our hols. our job means we dont know untill 6:15 on that day if we can make it or not is there any refund available or some plan installed for this balls up . look we support leigh all we can, tops n season tickets but this is nothing to do with us we used our hols and booked off accordingly .now if fax and leigh arrange a new day then thats out of my hands and into leighs hands. don't mind giving leigh my money but i want somthing back for it.


hope you can give me some advise APARKY or PM me how to find out how this mess can be solved.

Leigh RL can take no responsibility for such rearrangements. Sell it to your mates for that game or summat.

must admit the last home game I was able to attend was easter monday against Barrow. I know its not the clubs fault but midweek games are a total non starter for me, so thats three games that Im going miss along with my mrs because of rearrangements. That season ticket purchase really doesnt look good value now.

The match was re-arranged because Halifax were in the Challenge Cup on the weekend of the original date, and Cup fixtures always take priority.

The fixture we ended up with wasn't the fixture we wanted.

In a nutshell, that unfortunately is the risk you take with a season ticket. All fixture lists are subject to change.

Bottom line is if there is any doubt that you cannot make matches not played at 3 pm on a sunday dont buy a S/T

Given that we [ the Championship have a TV deal that involves us playing on thursday nights you would have to expect at least 3/4 games per season not to be played on our ' regular ' day , and the more successful we are in any given season the more games will be changed

The TV deal is wonderful isn't it ?

Should be ok then when they announce the remaining season tv choices then
