he would have made no difference at all..... the problems appear stem much deeper than we thought unfortunately.

This won't end. We will finish about 8th, behind Leeds Wigan Saints Huddersfield Salford HullKR and Catalan.

We have absolutely awful half backs. The only one who cuts it (and is probably our second best player behind Hill) is Ratchford and he's not a natural half back and has a poor kicking game. I think Ratch is more suited to full back but even there is isn't a natural FB neither. What is his position?where is he suited to really? And I'm asking this of our second best player.

I've never seen a team have so many half backs and to think none of them have a good kicking game whatsoever is pitiful!

By God do we need a fit Harrison and Grix (our fourth and fifth best players) yet they never string more than half a dozen games together.

Other than Hill Ratchford Westwood Harrison Grix and Clark (Monaghan scores a lot of tries but I don't think his all-round game is that good, Atkins is very inconsistent)...we have a really average set of players. Totally mid-table to bottom four quality. So it's not going to end.
(I do believe Clark will improve, he's a very good player. I think he's a bit shy in his game with us so far, I will let his performances slide. But he's no Michael Monaghan!)

March results aren't the be all and end all, we'll be fine.

We lost briers, Hodgson and Monas in a short space of time. Not just three quality players but three clever players, great ball handling creative players each with a good kicking game. I read pre season that Moran and smith sit down and regularly plan long term...it has to be said this looks like it's gone badly wrong. I thought smith would be able to turn this around but looking at the playing roster I don't see how. We could be in serious trouble if this isn't fixed quickly and we lose again on Monday.

Exactly.

We had the back end of last year and a full preseason with GOB/Myler in the halves and they clicked well. They'll click again this year, starting on Monday. (If Mylers back for then).

No. Match results in the first third of the season aren't the be all and end all. Look at last year.
