I know it's not your fault Gary, but I'd have thought the people in charge might have decided not to schedule the parade at the exact time two of the four best supported football clubs in Warrington are kicking off against each other.

1pm-ish would have been far better for the armchair football fan who would want to go the parade then get home/the pub in time for the match.

If you want to watch football then watch football. I'd rather it be later so the hangover is less of a problem.

been a life long Liverpool fan but the premier league means zero to me where Wires are concerned always have and always will. If anyone thinks its an Attraction to Watch Mario Balloteli ar$e around instead of Watching Wires parade a Major Trophy of the sporting world around then fair do's, but like i said I'm a Liverpool fan and days of homecoming parades showing off major trophies are long gone..........So i'll take them where i can.............

In the age of sky+ I don't think that is really a problem, the bigger concern is that the last bus leaves the station at 1735. Hopefully the council will pay WBT to put buses on like they did twice in 2010, but with the way things are with cuts etc they may be less willing to fund them.

Also, disappointing that it is conditional on us winning and it would appear the route is to be shortened.

I know we are not used to losing a CC final but i was there for the ones in 1975 and 1990 which we lost. There was still a presentation at the town hall attended by thousands of people but the route was more direct and faster.
