Would I be wrong in saying Warrington look very average without Briers, they're praised for their strength in depth but they look so ordinary without him and its not just been tonight imo.

Wire have been poor, they have been slow and, dare I say it, look old.

Saints have been efficient, and have only needed to be so to beat this Wire side.....I know after Leeds' last 2 seasons it is suicide to say it, but this Wire team don't look capable of reaching a Grand Final.

Completely agree, think Wire where lucky Catalan & Hull were so bad, Rovers put in a solid performance and saints are doing the same tonight. I would put money on Wire not getting to the GF if Briers is not to return.

Surely we are not falling into the trap of Winning side good, losing side poor.

I don't think wire have looked good when they've won, only against Wigan did they look good with briers playing a key role. Warrington don't look the same capable team they have done over the past couple of years, Briers is huge miss and I don't think that fact can be underestimated.

Wire may not have been at their very best and yes Briers is a big miss, but they've played worse and won before now.

Tonight's win is down to Saints' outstanding defence - Wire simply couldn't break them down. Their kicking game was very good and they took the right options in attack. Any team would have struggled. Lomax was excellent at full-back and the rest just did the basics very, very well.

I like his stats. The people that tend to not like stats are the ones that don't really understand their importance to analysing a game, or just understand what they mean at all!

Just like most of the Sky team. The only two who really has any insight is Carney amd Wells. The others should be potted!
