plus theyve increased the allowance for a long term player by $100,000.

the salary cap went up as well by around $200,000

and finally its always been there but clubs can get a third party sponsor to pay extras to a player, and these are unlimited

so greg inglis could have a contract at $250,000 under the salary cap and a total contract of $600,000

inglis broncos contract was for something like $250,000 - $300,000 and the rest from third party sponsors.
