| as a diehard leeds fan i may find it hard but can still accept that mc guire had a bad game 1st half but so did many others, he improved massively 2nd half imo the legend that is tony smith should have altered the defensive setup after 20 minutes as it was blatantly not working[defended far too narrow ala huddersfield therefore leaving gaping holes out wide . Once the setup was altered 2nd half we were far more compact defensively. The 2nd half was a major improvement sinfield orchesrated play well burgess added the biff and gareth ellis showed his all round class in both halves. If we had applied that much effort in both halfs who knows what would have happened. at the end of the day positives have to be taken. If we can play a full 8o mins in he same vein as this weekends 2nd half the final beckons.I personally have faith in he England boys to finally stand up to the overhyped southern hemisphere and shock a few non believers! come on ENGLAND dont let me down.

Your quotes are for the 2007 nomination. This years are as follows:
Sinfield display earns Golden Boot nomination
"FIVE players who will play in Saturday's Four Nations final between England and Australia are on the shortlist to win the coveted Golden Boot, which is awarded annually to the world's greatest Rugby League player by 'Rugby League World' magazine.
Leeds Rhinos skipper Kevin Sinfield may be a surprise selection in some eyes, but his outstanding performance for England in their 20-12 victory against New Zealand on Saturday night, following his influential display against Australia the previous week, confirmed his nomination.
Sinfield has enjoyed a memorable autumn. Not only did he become the first captain to win four Super League Grand Finals, but he also won the Harry Sunderland award as the Old Trafford man of the match as his side dispatched St Helens for the third year in a row. He scored 253 Super League points for the Rhinos in 2009.
The other five players with a chance of winning the award are Australia's Greg Inglis, Billy Slater and Cameron Smith, England's Gareth Ellis and New Zealand's Fuifui Moimoi. Moimoi is the only nominee who won't be able to press his claim in this Saturday's final.
Slater and Smith are the last two winners of the award and, along with Inglis, tasted Grand Final glory with Melbourne this year and State-of-Origin success with Queensland for the fourth year in a row."

Yeah I know. It was in response to a question about whether Roy Asotasi or Manu Vatevei had ever been nominated for the Golden boot or were just named as best players in their position.
Cheers though.
