| If Saints were to lose on Saturday and we had the option to pick them later on in the play offs would you?
They look a spent force this season, and it could turn out to be the easier option. Smart business says we take them early and get them out the way.

Maybe... although beating them for a third straight year at OT would be great. Graham storming off again.
IMO we'll get the choice of Wigan/KR in the Semi.. and i'd be tempted to choose Wigan. It's worked for us the past 2 years as a warm up for the big un.

| No, quite simply because Saints is always a tough game that could go either way. If we win, it'd seem like a good idea. But there is the possibility of losing and then would be deemed as a foolish plan.

I hope you do - don't think we'd win but would be fun to watch

| I'd definately chose Saints at home. Only down side would be they could treat it as the GF then relax and get caught out in the final it's self. But anyways it won't happen, I expect to see Leeds Saints at Old trafford for the 3rd year on the trot, the rest aren't as good as us 2. Although if either of us are going to slip up before the final, Saints look the most likley.

I think the OP would do well to check Leeds record at home against Saints in recent years - it's hardly been "Fortress Headingley" when Saints have come to town.
Hull KR have looked wobbly recently and particularly if Shaun Briscoe was missing they would be the selection I'd make from the sides mentioned.

| Seeing as there is always a bit of a hangover after a week off, assuming we get there I would pick the other team which had had a week off whoever they might be.

| Why would we do that...Saints have a pretty good record against us in cup games and play-offs the last couple of years...
...they're record against us at OT is quite different and offers us a slight psychological advantage (i.e. they might choke . )

Those Saints sides weren't shot and fighting amongst themselves though.

They've beaten us twice out of the 3 occasion we have played them this year. Our recent win (by a very close margin) was us in "top form" and them supposedly in Dire straights.
With all there players back, and playing anything like close to their best they will be head and shoulders above any team placed from 3 - 8 in the play offs.
